Yes, it announced its support for virtual CAN-BUS in 2018 i believe

WebOS TV compatibility,  
or at least being able to run official YouTube Leanback UI Web app.  
(FYI: you can run it even on PC)

**webOS OSE** is a powerful open-source operating system, but there’s always room for improvement. Some **desired features** include **better hardware compatibility** , expanded support for **Android apps** , and improved **voice assistant integration**. Developers would also benefit from **enhanced developer tools** , easier **custom UI creation** , and a more active **app ecosystem**. Adding features like **multi-user support** , **gesture-based navigation** , and better **IoT integration** would make webOS OSE more versatile.
