Hi, what is compatibility level of WebOS OSE with webOS TV?
Can I build webOS TV for RPi4?
Can I run Youtube "Leanback" interface app on WebOS OSE?
Are webOS OSE APIs compatible with webOS TV ones?

That important aspect of the system is documented very weakly, compared to Tizen, for example. Probably room for improvements.

Unfortunately, none of your questions are applicable to webOS OSE. The platform is very similar to webOS TV, but they are not compatible.

In comparison, Tizen always had it's TV variant open. You can build their TV variant firmware for RPi4 freely, as well as "common" variant (equivalent of WebOS OSE I guess).

Was the WebOS TV compatibility even considered? Any chance it will happen in future?

We had reviewed a similar suggestion before, but due to internal circumstances, we concluded that it would be difficult to go ahead with it.

Very sad. I hope you reconsider your decision.
Otherwise, Tizen will probably get more momentum in eyes of community..
