Hi, there are a lot of Bluetooth Remotes with Voice Input support on the market compatible with Android TV.
While overall usable, the mic functionality apparently is not available on Linux currently:

There are a lot of Remotes on the market following [Google TV Remote Controls Re… ference Design](https://www.twelectronics.co.uk/_files/ugd/6c263b_1f300f5de2614c54b1123f05e3f7fe5b.pdf).
All (most) of them have built-in mic.
Unfortunately, I didn't find a way to make use of the mic in linux.
Any advise?

@frederic you have been [referenced](https://www.reddit.com/r/LineageOS/comments/1ilbvms/comment/mbvbicd/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) (thanks @oddsolutions) as one of those who did the mic linux port attempts, so tagging you too. Any input is welcomed.
How is the idea to port the needed driver to Linux upstream?
