Looking for 'telnetd' binary that can run on latest webos / 5.4.268-223.29.okapi.3
by any chance someone can post or point to source/binaries ?

It is not the version naming rule of webOS OSE. I think it is for webOS TV.

right, from binary (telnetd) not much relations/care should be given to kernel, it was just given as general idea of target environment..
Is there a place to find/download such (statically linked) binary.
Or what you're saying these environments are not binary compatible so would have to get it from the webos TV side of the house ?
They provide huge ROM/epk which inside have .PAK, not easy to get that binary..
