I’ve been exploring webOS OSE for a side project and was wondering about the community’s take on third party app stores. Since the official ecosystem feels pretty limited compared to Android or iOS, I’m curious whether anyone here has experimented with alternative app stores or custom repositories.
Do you think third party app stores are a practical solution for expanding app availability on webOS, or do they introduce more security and stability risks than they’re worth? Also, are there any specific app store projects or approaches that you’d recommend (or avoid) for someone trying to build a more flexible setup?
